Anna Recasens

Senior Director of Operations & Strategy - New York City

Anna Recasens is an events producer with over eight years of international production experience across a variety of categories, mostly in the entertainment and events industries.

Beginning her career as a producer at the San Sebastian Film Festival, she’s lived in Barcelona, Berlin, Helsinki, Kyoto, and New York City, and worked extensively within five languages on small and large-scale events, for clients including Absolut Vodka, The Atlantic, Havas Worldwide, Erdington Americas, United Nations, Sony, and Fira Barcelona.

Anna holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Art History/Philosophy and Communications/Film, and was selected for the IDFA Academy in Amsterdam, a selection of 15 up-and-coming producers in independent filmmaking in 2013.

Anna recently joined Empire Entertainment after a decade of freelancing. For her, events are memorable storytelling experiences that require quality content and a distinct aesthetic sensibility.

Outside of Empire, Anna can be found watching a movie at Metrograph, running in Central Park, or simply enjoying the sun (as much as possible).
