Kohei Izawa majored in Theatre Arts in Waseda University's School of Letters, Arts and Sciences. There he studied directing, screenwriting, acting, and production. He joined Empire Entertainment Japan in April 2008 as a producer. 

Kohei has experience in numerous projects ranging from national events to closed parties including a Minako Honda (one of Japan's top singers) concert tour, the JAPAN EXPO National Event "JAPAN DAY / JAPAN WEEK", the Tokyo Motor Show, fashion shows, product launch events, movie promotion events and exclusive parties as event producer, stage manager, director, and production manager.
