Since joining the company in July of 2004, Melissa has become an integral member of the Empire Entertainment team. Serving as Senior Producer, Talent Supervisor and Logistics Manager, Melissa has worked with companies such as Microsoft Corporation, Yum Brands, GlaxoSmithKline, American Express, and Wells Fargo, while producing and creating lasting relationships with artists such as Sheryl Crow, Pink, The Black Crowes, Michael McDonald, Huey Lewis & The News, Daryl Hall & John Oates, The Blues Brothers featuring Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi, The B-52’s, Chris Isaak, Maroon 5 and Daughtry. Additionally, she has worked with such speakers as Muhammad Yunus, George Lucas, Ronan Tynan, and Ben Stein; and comedians / variety acts such as Dana Carvey, Jay Leno, and Penn & Teller. Through extensive travel and event coordination, Melissa has fostered relationships with ground vendors, hotels, caterers, and work permit / visa companies throughout the world. Whether it’s transferring 50+ performers on boats through the British Virgin Islands or getting a rock band to the top of a mountain in Utah, Melissa is the go-to girl for all Empire event production and logistics.
