Nicole Torrecampo is a producer at Empire Entertainment since 2003, specializing in event production, management and logistics, site selection and acquisition, talent booking and coordination. Prior to joining Empire, Nicole worked at the Boston Medical Center to promote the Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences program at Boston University, preparing communication materials to gain visibility among the top biomedical companies in the nation. With Best Buddies International, a not-for-profit organization founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Nicole helped to coordinate the logistics for the Volvo Hyannisport Challenge, a premier cycling fundraiser which included participation of thousands of cyclists, celebrities and professional athletes to benefit the lives of people with intellectual disabilities. It was at Upshot Communications, a digital tastemaker music promotions company in London, where Nicole had the opportunity to help develop marketing and campaign support for new and established music artists, such as Paul Oakenfold, Just Jack, Oasis, and the Lockdown Project. There she cultivated her passion for music, raw talent and creativity and found home at Empire Entertainment. At Empire, Nicole has worked with many corporate, not-for-profit and private clients that include Microsoft, Merrill Lynch & Co., Credit Suisse, Sony BMG, Kerzner International, Conde Nast Media Group, Time Inc., the Ross School, National Geographic Channel, and Time Out New York. She has enjoyed working with a spectrum of musical headliners such as Elvis Costello, Wyclef, Aretha Franklin, Earth, Wind & Fire, Pink, Janet Jackson, Lionel Richie, and John Legend, comedians including Dana Carvey and Ben Stein, and keynote speakers such as Robert Redford and Former President, George H.W. Bush. Nicole is proud to produce the annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball Benefit (www.keepachildalive.org) since it's inception in 2004, which includes musical artists such as Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Lou Reed, Bono, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Damian Marley, David Bowie and others. From theme development, executing creative concepts, talent relations to all aspects of event logistics, Nicole enjoys fostering valuable relationships and creating memorable experiences in a collaborative effort with the Empire team. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Boston University's School of Communications. She also attended Richmond, The American International School in London, England, where she studied British Culture and Humanities. In her free time, Nicole enjoys world travel, writing and running marathons.
