Empire Co-Presidents Produce the movie, The Cruise

Empire Entertainment Co-Presidents J.B. Miller and David Yamner recently served as Executive Producers on the motion picture entitled, "The Cruise." Shot entirely on digital video and transferred to 35mm film, "The Cruise" is perhaps the first feature film to reach national release that was produced in an entirely digital format. "The Cruise" is a black & white documentary about a New York City double-decker bus tour guide named Timothy "Speed" Levitch. Best described by The Village Voice who called him "The guy Woody Allen can only dream of being," Levitch appeared on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" to promote the film. Released nationally by Artisan Entertainment, the film received two thumbs up from Siskel & Ebert, an "A" rating in Entertainment Weekly and solid praise in publications ranging from The New York Times, USA Today and Newsweek to the Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, Variety and Rolling Stone. This rewarding experience has helped Empire Entertainment to develop new production skills to apply to our clients' projects.
