Colin Engler

As Chief Financial Officer of Empire, Colin leads the company's global finance organization, overseeing financial strategy, planning, accounting and cash management. He sees finance as a partner to the creative work, giving producers and leadership the clarity to make smart decisions while keeping the business on solid footing. His operating philosophy is simple: "We treat our clients' money as if it were our own."

Prior to joining Empire, Colin spent 13 years at Jack Morton, rising from intern to SVP, Head of Finance, where he led a finance organization spanning North America, EMEA and APAC. There, he guided the business through significant transformation, built a forecasting and reporting function relied on by leadership across the company, and modernized its financial systems to support growth.

Colin began his career in 2008 as an auditor at American Share Insurance, a private insurer of credit union deposits. Starting out during the financial crisis was an early lesson in why financial discipline matters.

A Midwesterner at heart, when he's not closing the books he's usually on the golf course, cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, or keeping up with his two kid
